For what it is worth, we got a performace report a couple of years ago and were told that we were number 1 in the State of Kansas, for this vendor, for our turn around time with no errors, and the next day they informed us that they were cutting back on our orders, doing their searches inhouse, via the internet, but wanted to negotiate our charges for doing all the tax and judgment searches.  Our attitude was "So much for being number one, that rating and 5 bucks will get us a cup of joe at Starbuck's".  So now, our attitude for getting a good performace rating is "ok, that's nice".  But, we still do the same work in the same turn around time.  I'm not too impressed with their performance report.
