I'll add my two cents to your two cents, Robert.  Now we have four cents. 

If some of you REALLY need it, I'll donate my share of the four cents, with the understanding that you'll hopefully be willing to do the same for someone else some day.  But, please, don't try to grab my two cents, or tell me that I must give it to someone, just ask - nicely, thank you.

I'm right here in the middle with Robert.  It's kind of uncomfortable here, which makes me think I should stay.  But, the conservative = a liberal who's been mugged line was pretty funny...  Of the libs and cons I know, I think the conservatives have better senses of humor.
