I agree with Kevin.  It is true she was a beauty queen and has little experience.  The only think she left out of her speach was the standard beauty queen response - - World Peace - - or did she, I can't say I watched the whole thing. 

One thing Kevin left out was the fact that she is from Alaska and where do we want to drill for oil???  Yepper, Alaska.  She is a very active voice in that regard as she too believes it in America's best interest to drill there.  I think, and I am not political and do not declare a party, that is a main reason why McCain picked her. 

She will probably pick up the sympathy vote from many women in a similar situation (i.e. preganant teen) and then some of the Hillary supporters because she is a woman. 

Either way both sides have their downfall.  One must make a decision as to which is the lesser of two evils.  Maybe we should do away with the party system.  It doesn't seem to work all that well if you ask me.  Of course that is my opinion and i could/should probably do more research on that aspect before I spill it out in public.  Oops, too late.
