i've done work for global title for several years, way back when they were known as quality title - they always paid promptly until summer of '06 - payments just stopped tho work still came in - finally, after several attempts i rec'd a message from debbie (joe's wife) who told me that they themselves were victims of non-paying clients & she understood how frustrating it was to try to collect money owed & promised they would send whatever they could monthly - the promise has been kept and i've been receiving monthly payments, between $50 & $100, for some time now, so their debt is slowly whittling down - that was the same time ricter abstracts stopped paying and i heard all the excuses i've read here - fires, deaths, knee surgery, heart surgery, weddings and on an on, including the check's in the mail - well, the check never came & they owe me over $4K (yes, i'm an idiot - an idiot who hates accounting) - i love this site, it's made me realize that i'm not alone when it comes to non-paying clients -
