LOL - Good old country boys are the best mechanics and usually pretty fair on price.  My Brother has rebuilt many engines (blown by racing) in his day.  He always was tinkering with timing and various other things to max out the HP.  He bored out a 350 small block once and made it a 400.  That one was fast and very very gas pedal sensitive - 69 Camaro (the best car ever!!!).  I remember him telling me "if you drive this mean machine don't push the pedal more than half way down and try to only use your big toe".  Well, thanks bro....after that I was too scared to drive it.  Maybe that was his plan all along.....
