I have always tried to be reasonable with everyone.  I watch my pennies but I have never been greedy.  I would always push my staff to be the best they could be so we didnt have to be one of those companies that kept asking for cheaper pricing.  In the end, they didnt care about good service, they just wanted it cheap.  Most of the customers out there could care less if they got sued.  We cared......we were fortunate to never have a single claim.  The homeowners should pay a minimum charge for the search as well as every other part of the transaction.  We perform a legal function and we should be paid for it.  Sorry if I was so hard on you.
