OK, just to make sure I follow what is happening in this very long, non-title related thread.
We have two candidates running. One is a radical Muslim supporter who has never done a darn thing. It does ignore the Lugar-Obama legislation and the the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act of 2006 (see USA spending.gov). We also must ignore the Republican majority for most of his time in the Senate. Still, mentioning 57 states must be due to a post drug induced haze or a veiled reference to the number of Muslim states at the recent conference in Saudi Arabia.
On the other side we have a candidate that has admitted being "broken" during his time as a prisoner in Viet Nam. Now he has picked a surprise running mate from Alaska. A woman that is sympathetic to the Alaska Freedom Party, controls the National Guard in the state that has much of our natural resources, and in closer to Russia than any other state.
Could it be that McCain wants to see Alaska secede from the rest of the county and form an alliance with Russia? Maybe all that time as a prisoner made him a communist just waiting for a chance to return Alaska to the Ruskies. The darn fellow has hidden his intentions well.
To switch to serious for a moment, I think we have two honorable gentlemen running for the highest office in the land. It would be best to assess the positions they are laying out and base the choice on that, not on silly mudsling from both sides.
