If you get a chance take a look at Palin's video welcoming the delegates of the Alaskan Independence Party (AIP) and wishing them well at their convention. You can find it on You Tube. She makes specific reference to upholding the State's Constitution. However, there is noticeably absent any  corresponding mention of the United States Constitution. Either before or after you see the video take a look at what the party advocates...among other things a vote for secession from the Union and possibly closer ties to Canada....shades of 1861.The GOP was quick to quash rumors of her membership in the AIP. However, the AIP has admitted that her husband was a member, and tried to down play it by stating that he really was not very active in that capacity.
