Clinton rode the coattails of the previous 12 years - and yes, it took 12 years to undo what was done by Carter in only 4 (interest rates on mortgages went from 6% to 19.5% - he gave away a strategic position by giving away the Panama Canal zone - he botched the rescue of American hostages in Iran).  Clinton showed the world that the US was weak by not addressing all the terrorist attacks on the US (first bombing of World Trade Center, numerous embassy bombings, USS Cole, etc.).  Oh, excuse me, he did address them - he wanted to INDICT them.  OHHHHH - I'M SCARED - LET ME CALL MY LAWYER!!!!!  OMG!  The only thing that happened to help the economy on Clinton's watch was the dot com bubble, which, when it burst, caused the housing bubble, where we are now.  Bush nherited a recession and then 9/11 because of the "percieved weakenss" of the US.  Judy, do you really need to see another 9/11 to believe that these terrorists declared war on us way back in 1972 when the US sided with Israel after the Munich massacre?
