While your analysis of Perpich is correct, the Court in its ruling did, in fact, permit state governors to refuse federal deployments under certain conditions. In light of that fact, your prior statement that "Governor Rell has little to say about it" is not valid.
While Ayres still seems to be unwilling to renounce his radical past, he currently serves as a professor of education at the University of Illinois. Dorhn...has since become a professor of law at Northwestern University, and travels to Amsterdam to teach law also. She is a principal in The Children and Family Justice Center.
I suppose you don't have a problem with unrepentant terrorists influencing young impressionable minds, but then again you people on the left never have a problem with people who seek the destruction of this country by any means at their disposal.
So you perceive the commonality of a set designer to justify McCain's commercials personally attacking Obama?
First of all, I reject the premise that McCain's commercials are a "personal" attack. The Obama campaign is nothing but a cult of personality. It is mere symbolism without substance and McCain's ad drives that point home rather effectively. In fact, I'm surprised that Senator Obama didn't appear onstage in a toga and a crown of olive leaves.
I would have to disagree with your analysis of the Kennedy Administration...He relied heavily upon his cabinet in a very dangerous situation during the Cuban Missile Crisis especially Dean Rusk and Robert McNamara .
I think you need to brush up on your history. Kennedy was, as you say, "perceived as weak" mostly because of his willingness to meet with Khruschev over the objections of Dean Rusk, who had argued against it in a Foreign Affairs article a year before the 1961 Vienna Summit. Most historians consider that meeting to be a huge misstep on President Kennedy's part. In fact, Messrs. Rusk and McNamara were often at odds with the President regarding foreign policy matters and near the end of his term, Kennedy was increasingly distrustful of his military advisers.
