I hear what you're saying, but Governor Palin was also "chosen by the voters" of her state (in a landslide, I might add), so apparently enough people thought she was qualified enough to get that far, so I wouldn't discount that, either. Her track record to this point is what convinces me that she is more qualified to serve as Vice-President than Senator Obama is to serve as President. I don't think I'm being at all hypocritical. At least Palin has executive experience, whereas all Obama has ever done is make speeches. I just named a few of Governor Palin's accomplishments; can you name even one significant accomplishment to which Senator Obama can lay claim?
Furthermore, I think that McCain's choice was a better one than was Obama's. McCain has long been known as the "loose cannon on the deck" of the Republican Party, and his choice of someone from outside the Beltway is another example of why he is called a maverick. Obama, on the other hand, who is running on the idea of "change", has chosen a Washington insider, a career politician. Clearly, it is McCain who has made the better choice.
If I were a betting man, I'd lay odds that "circumstances" will "force" Obama to select a different running mate. Remember, you read it here first.
