I don't know about TN, but the issue in GA is that most searches can be done on line. Therefore, there are very few boots-on-the-ground people left. (This is also true of Florida.) I get a lot of cell searches in GA and utilize one person who travels the state for me -- and charges accordingly. The cell company doesn't seem surprised and approve the quote about 90% of the time.
There are similar pricing structures in Texas for the remote counties. It's all about supply and demand.
