yes, i would always get apologies for my late payments, too.  that doesnt take away from the fact that they were always late-- always.  then, suprise, i would always get an order or two from them before i would get my check, so i was back on the hook.  i worried about not getting the check if i didnt do the work, so it seemed i was always on the hook with them.  then it would take a few months with no work and no payment and the process would repeat.  they probably had 2 or 3 others in this area they were doing the same thing to.  that way they could always get away with paying late, yet still get their work completed.  after a couple of years of this, i finally was in a position of not being owed money and have not worked for them since.  then this message board started lighting up with others complaining about them.  if i would have come forward sooner, perhaps i could have saved others trouble.  since then, however, myself and others seem to just catch flack if we dare call out problem payers.

anyway, yes-- i always did eventually get the money they owed me.  and i would usually get an apology.  my only thought is that when it happens every time and nothing ever gets any better, when is enough enough?  i decided a few years ago i had enough and it appears that nothing has gotten any better.  this is one of those times when each individual has to make their own decision.  thankfully, source of title is here to provide plenty of information about this, and other companies.  although others dont seem to think we should be sharing this information.
