Here is a question that has been asked on the forum before: If you receive a request, let's say for a full search, and there are borrowers listed on the order to be run for judgments/liens, do you charge extra to run those names since they are not in title?  Well I always have and never experienced an issue until American Abstract.  Their account became past due and they fought not to pay as much of the balance as possible, and the judgment/lien searches was a major issue... even though they had paid them in the past!!!!  I assume they just found someone cheaper, or someone who wasn't charging them for J/L searches and decided to nickel and dime me as much as possible on past due invoices.  Even if they pay me for them because of this post, I still wouldn't do their work; too much time spent attempting to collect..... and deciding to do work for a company knowing that they could again just decide not to pay for something isn't exactly on the top of my list.

Sorry for venting but AHHHHH!!! ...  is that how you scream out of frustation in a post???
