I have experience with Worker's Comp.  For the last four years I have been audited by my insurance carrier and last year they tried to increase my premium because of all the independent contractors I use as abstractors.  I spoke with a manager at the firm ( Guard Insurance, Wilkes Barre, PA.) and he said it was an overzealous employee who examined my file and he said the employee was wrong and for now on he is going to audit my account so I won't have this problem again.
