Disturbing post Jarrod. It's interesting to note that the outsourcers are once again exploiting  broadcasts that are paid for by local taxpayers in the name of transparent government. In addition, the Indian agent Dowd interviewed admitted to having little to no understanding of the subject she writes about but said it didn't really matter. Sounds like the offshore abstractors doesn't it.

Journalists have always acted as a guiding force in American democracy. It's disturbing to think this guidance may now come from people who don't really care about accurately reporting the news in a knowledgeable fashion. I wonder what the professors in our journalism schools think about this. Then again, when I attended college thirty years ago, most of the classes were already being taught by foreign teaching assistants.
