I think people realize that you are/were not the owner of Examnet/Ecom/OnTitle.  I do know that whether you were following orders or not, IF you lied or intentionally misled anyone about getting paid, then you were wrong.  "just following orders" does not excuse someone from your larger obligation of being honest with your fello man.  If you were not dishonest, the so be it.  I personally would not do something I felt to be dishonest for my employer.  I have been asked to do that in the past and I refused and looked for employment elsewhere.

Could you shed some light on what the purpose of having 3 different compnies was?
