The Cumberland County Maine Registar of Deeds is out of control.  She will now be charging $1.50 per computer index page that you print out in the Registry.  It's coming right out of a researchers/abstractors pocket!  This is what happens when they are elected and have no idea of how the system works.  Is this a growing trend with Registry's?  I would appreciate your input of how it works in your area.
