My understranding is that written stop-payment orders are good for six months. You can call the bank it was drawn on and verify. If it was an oral stop-payment order, it should expire after 14 days if the low life from Infinity doesn't come into the bank and put it in writing. A stop-payment order can be renewed for an additional six months.

I would contact their bank and check on their stop payment policy, if the six month period has passed try to run it through again. You might get lucky.
