I do not feel that we should be paying for the health care of illegal aliens. They should not be here. They should not be entitled to the benefits of citizenship. I think there needs to be a complete overhaul of the American system.  However, there are millions of American citizens that have fallen by the wayside that need medical attention. The system has been left in the hands of the insurance industry for far too long. A plan that includes the Government as a market participant may force the insurance industry to offer more competitive prices. The current system has not done that.

As for the war in Iraq...it has been a waste of time and a drain on the American economy since the beginning. Those people do not even want us there....evidence:  the protests of tens of thousands of Iraqis during the past week.  Why waste more American lives and American funds there. Let them defend themselves
