Hello Robert, Thanks for your response. I just went and googled the harvard law review and it does appear there was a race based affirmative action program in place when obama was made editor/president of the harvard law degree, However it does seem like there is anyway of knowing if obama received this honor based on his grades or his own merrit.  Thanks Mike
