I knew I would get blasted for asking that question about why it took him 3 days to go and see his grandmother.  However, after being accused of being vicious, when I was merely asking a question, and after reading Robert B's response above, it hit me.  Perhaps it is merely a difference between men and women.  We are from 2 different planets according to the book, you know.
