I heard 3 of his rally speeches today (although I was also working) on television, and did not hear one word about his grandmother's passing.  I didn't hear about it until I got back from a record room around 5pm.  Heard lots of nasty things about McCain and saw the bird (albeit subliminally on his part), but nothing about grandmother. 

You still did not address the questions I posed - 3 days before you "rush" to a dying loved one's side?????  What does that say about his character?  When my father was dying, I stopped everything and stayed by his side and held his hand until the end.  I may not be as "important" as Obama, but I was self employed.  I explained the situation to my clients and most understood (some, of course, were crass idiots and tried to discuss business at the wake, but that's another story).  I even closed my business when my then father in law passed away.  It just shows respect.
