If you were not talking about one of the learned professions (medicine, law, dentistry, divinity)  I might be inclined to agree with you. However, reading an article/study does not qualify you to offer an informed  opinion on the law or law school procedure any more than such would qualify you to speak competently on a cure for cancer.
