cute but heres how it works in the real world, economists & all. the first 7 guys get booted out for not having enough $ the remaining 3 get refunded for their overpayments, & their so happy they bring ( paying ) friends, 4 of the remaing 7 pool their $ ,& each split a beer, 1/2 a beer is better than no beer & maybe one day they relaize they can better themselves & afford their own beer.  out of 3 of the remaining orig 10 one quits drinking & drinks free water at the public fountain ( another bastion of communism). for the other 2 its a dogfight, only 1 will win but will only be able to afford some used beer ( yuch) the last gets thrown in jail for not being able to afford beer at all & the innkeeper is happy to fund that to some minimal degree.

the innkeeper gets paid for all beer sold, minus some minimal expense, most get to drink at a reasonable price, 1 take himself out of the game, 4 get back up & fight the fight, one barley survives, one gets jailed & bailed. welcome to america, who do you want to be??
