First of all by "cool" I was not referring to being fashionable, but rather calm and rational in his presentation of argument.  Actually the trisect of liberals as you call it would be a welcome change to the disaster of the last 8 years. Insofar as the change and constitutional law are concerned....that is how the constitution evolves to address our changing society. The drafters envisioned the need for change ,  wisely left the wording loose, and provided for interpretation by the court.
