Oriental names are a particular concern. In some oriental cultures the surnames and first names are reversed. I have seen some documents in which the individual's surname is printed in the Western tradition as the second name, but in actuality the individual title holder maintained the Eastern tradition of the surname being first. In which case you might find the deed and a mortgage under the surname, but other liens under the individual's first name. In situations such as this I treat both names as the surname in a title search.

Thank you for the Halloween greetings, Helene. Happy Samhain (Sowain ) to you also. Remember the traditional offerings to the spirits when the portal opens.
