Amen - took to words right from my mouth.  I have no problem helping those that need it and deserve it.  You know the ones that just can't catch a break no matter how hard they try.  But the key word is try!!!!  I have no sympathy for the people that have their hand out either.  Maybe I am jaded - this business can do that to you if you work in it long enough - but it makes me want to puke that I am (we are) going to have to pay for this gigantic train wreck of the mortgage industry when we all did what was right. etc, etc, etc......Change coming????  Maybe but I just don't see it happening any time soon, at least no change that will benefit me and my family, friends, co-workers, that have worked just as hard as me to get ahead in life.
