Thank you for your post Kevin. I was born in 72 so I am a bit too young and the education we get in school on Dr. King and this monumental movement is horrible. I can't even remember to be honest other than the small parts about his speech - more so that it was made and of course his assassination which again was very brief in a single history lesson.
God bless us all in the coming years especillay Pres. Obama and his family. We all know what happens to those that push for change....Pres. Lincoln, Dr. King, and JFK to name a few paid the largest debt of all and our lives suffered greatly for it. Imagine what the world would be like today if some of our greatest leaders had not been taken from us so early.
