Wow, that just blows my mind.....I don't know why but it does....call me nieve on this one. Thanks to all that, first, replied to me in such a nice manner as I am sure there are those that got a great laugh at my stupidity (and good for them cuz I feel pretty dumb on this one) and secondly to those that know how these criminals work. Obviously, I do not!!!
I suppose I get trapped in my own little secure world and forget about all the dirt bags that litter our planet and not just my state. I used to not even watch the news because I would just burst out in tears...my mom have to sit with me while I calmed down and explain some things a bit more delicately. Now, I am in my 30's, much more educated in somethings, starting to watch the news again - yes, still sobbing on some occasions but more so taking after my Daddy and screaming at the TV. But, alas, there is so much to watch, read, and dive into it makes my head hurt. I think that is why I am so nieve when it comes to ID theft. Like I said, it has never happened to someone I know, Thankfully. I have heard terrible horror stories but it stemmed from stolen mail or credit card numbers etc. Not something that was found on a county website.
