Sorry that I didn't see your post earlier. LandAmerica has, in fact, been acquired by FNF. I posted a story, the headline article, on this last Friday morning. Robert also wrote a blog about it. The deal hasn't been finalized yet, because the boards have to vote on it, but it seems pretty sewn up.
