Yes, but the point is that Alix should not be placed in the position of protecting the information. He does not need it to do his part of the transaction. He is not being compensated by the title company to protect the information.
The title company is taking an unacceptable risk by exposing PPI to a third party, affiliated or not, that does not need the information to perform their duties.
