Mr. King,   Your statement, "These negative comments after prompt payment" seem to fail to realize that the comments would not have been posted here on SOT at all if YOU had really made a PROMPT PAYMENT of the original bills submitted.   YOUR failure to make this PROMPT PAYMENT is the reason for the comments on here warning others of bad actors who may not always make any or in YOUR case late payment(s).  Excuses about your problems do not cut it when someone feels they are possibly being fleeced by a company.  If you knew YOU had a problem with staff that paid your bills, what would have be wrong with you expending some personal effort and cutting a check, placing it in the mail and have the person(s) paid.  Don't try to lay your bad posting on this site off on the person to whom YOU owed the funds for work done.
