Oh, Kevin. What a wonderful idea. A small 10 pt font printed notice on the bottom of EVERY page of the abstract and document going back to the company sounds like a great, low profile/discreet idea.
"... a notation on the abstract to the effect that it remains your property until you are paid, and use of its content is expressly conditioned upon ... payment ..."
It is sitting there in the fine print until you need it
