Wow Kristi, that is unbelievable.

I feel your frustration. I too am trying to colllect from a deadbeat client, but luckily I am not out for as much money as you are. Hopefully  fellow searchers in your area will not accept their work either. The only way to possibly get through to companies like this is for no one to be willing to take work from them. I am in the process of filing charges at the local Magistrate's Office against my deadbeat client. I chose to do that based on advice I received from others on S.O.T. Maybe you can pursue that course of action and/or file a complaint with whatever Bar Association that attorney is a member of.
