Michael: You need to get your county to get their act together- if they can change anything , without making some kind of "correction notation", everyone doing titles in that county is at risk and crazy to let that continue-get on the clerk to start making correction notations or something that protects you when you do titles in that county. This is one of the advantages of online systems, I can shoot a copy of anything I do, indexes, judgments, etc- so I have a record of what they are like on the day I do the case. I always do that when I find something I might want to question- so that I have the record at that moment- and then wait til it gets fixed, and copy it again. This is one of the big advantages of Paperport- I just copy everything and keep it in a folder with that case.
And speaking of Paperport- the parent company has been discounting all of their products lately- which is an indication there might be some "new" versions coming out soon- so if you want the current versions, now is the time, they are priced about ½ of the regular selling price. Take a look at their web site.( oh, and just in case someone wonders-I do NOT have anything to do with this company-I just use Paperport all the time , on all of my computers)

Have a good weekend, hope things pickup soon, they should with all that "bailout" money being poured into all the banks to lend( or donate to their executives).
