It sounds like they have come to the conclusion, "If you can beat them, join them" mentality to keep their business alive. Why aren't we upset with the Register of Deeds offices for making this information so accessible to India? I know this open up a whole can of worms of contraversy but here the ROD's offices put everything on line for a price so I guess it has become fair game.
Yes, it stinks because it is slowing putting us all out of business. I am sure Richmond will not be the only company that breaks allegience in the very near future. Look at all the companies in the past that only carried made in the USA products and before long, they were importing merchandise from China due to increase price competitiion. Back in the day not too long ago, we would never think of purchasing an item that was made overseas but now, we don't even give it a second thought. How just a few decades and lower prices have changed our attitudes.
Unfortunately it comes down to survival and I am sure when we address this topic again in 3 years, it will be the norm. How sad, frustrating and actually mind boggling knowing that a company from India (oceans away) is performing searches regarding our soil, our people and taking away our money! I guess it comes down to when you make something easy/convenient for everyone, at the end of the day, we all end up suffering. It seems like no industry is safe these days.
