Lin are you referring to TranStar National Title in Texas? If not, this is a very good examine of why posters should insert the city and state that the business resides. In an industry where there is not a lot of creativity in the selection of names, a business reputation can be ruined because of a seemly minor oversight.
If you are talking about TranStar in Texas, I'm sure it was a one in a million error on their part. I have done and continue to do tens of thousands of dollars in business with this company and its executives and have never encountered an issue when dealing with the depositing of checks or anything else. Nevertheless, I would suggest that before we push the submit button on a blog to transmit to the world a potentially damaging piece of information, we remember that every company makes honest mistakes. The power of the internet is large and a once thought rational decision could cost a company its reputation and ultimately could affect livelihoods and other businesses that serve as vendors. I know that these times are tough economically for everyone and when it comes to our money, regardless of the amount, messing with it can become a real issue. The folks at TranStar are good people so, give them reasonable time to correct the issue in a way that satisfies you and prevents the error from affecting other good folks in the future. Good luck and I wish you well in all your future endeavors.
