Well, I suppose that all depends on your perspective. If you were one of the 15 million low-income families, I would suspect you would credit Clinton with a tax cut. If you were one of the 1.2 wealthiest tax payers, I guess you would have different opinion. If you are talking aggregate reduction in taxes, or tax cuts for all taxpayers, then Clinton probably did increase taxes (I dont' know). But, it is irresponsible to cut taxes across the board without pairing it with drastic spending cuts and we haven't seen either party cut spending. We need a certain amount of tax revenue - if you cut someone's taxes you have to raise soemone else's. Otherwise, you end up with a higher deficit and a higher national debt... irresponsible.
