Ameristar has a long history of doing this.  I think the best thing to do is file suit as fast as you can.  Also, tell everyone you know of your experiences with them.  In my opinion, there is absolutely no room for companies that intentionally take advantage of the abstractors.  I would love to see all of the bad companies go belly up during this slump we are in.  Maybe then when things pick up, we can all do work with honest customers again.
