Like I said, I would LIKE to tell them the order is being done (when it's not) but I won't do that.  (Although they can't legally hold that against me any more than I can do much to pris my money out of them.)  I don't do that, however.  I merely wait for them to call, give all the gorey details to whomever is asking me about their order (because if he/she is totally innocent, I'm hoping they'll find another job), and then ask to talk to someone in charge.  (Doesn't work, but I try.)
