Ed Gunther and Dave Pelligrinelli are the two new NALTEA board members.  There was a tie between two of the candidates, and Debi Merrill, in an extraordinary gesture, withdrew her candidacy.

As the ballot was being prepared for a runoff between the two candidates, a member present at the meeting asked about the ability of members who had already left the meeting at that time to cast a runoff vote.  At least one member had to leave the meeting early.  Debi put the issue to rest with her magnanimous move to withdraw.

I believe NALTEA will make a lot of progress this year.  There is plenty of enthusiasm and energy to take NALTEA to the next plateau.  More committee members would get us further, faster.
