I worked for Pete Bodonyi, owner of eCom Title Agency about 5 years ago.  eCom Title Agency was located in North Olmsted, Ohio.  At that time he also had a company in California called Examnet.  His wife, Rae Bodonyi also ran a company in the same office of eCom Title and that was called Lender Recording Services.  From what I understand, and some of what I witnessed was eCom started out very small.  I was only the 5th or so employee hired in there.  In the beginning he was a very generous boss.  But once the money started to roll in, things changed.  People in the office always made comments that the money went to his head.   I seen things change very fast.  In my opinion he is quick to screw someone over that he doesnt like.  But in turn, he is very good to those he does like.  Its a real shame that he has let his business' turn the way he has, and that nobody wants to do work for him.  But I cant say I dont understand.  I seen first hand some shady practices go on there.  I am not a discruntled employee.  I was not fired.  I gave my two week notice and was told "we know how notices work, you can just get your things and leave now" And so I did.  I started my own local and nationwide filings of deeds and mortgages, and was sent a letter by Mr. Bodonyi's attorney threatening to SUE me if I had used any of HIS shipping or passwords or whatever.  And of course, since I was not, we had no problem.  I just found it very enerving that someone who just gave me a bonus last week is now threatening me for absolutely NO REASON.  My point to all this is if you are on his good side, he will be good to you, but if you make him upset he will turn on you in a heartbeat.  (my opinion of course)  I also cant understand (if he likes you or not) how ANY company can hold your money.  I mean, dont they get audited?  That money has to be SOMEWHERE!!   If they cant afford to pay you, then they oviously spent it somewhere else, and that should be theft. I do not know if eCom Title is still around or not. I heard they closed the North Olmsted office.  But I have not had any contact with him or anyone I previously worked with in over 5 years.   Hope this helps.
