Right, indeed you would think you would tout yourself and your upbringing.....oh wait, that is only if you really had a respectable position in a respectable company.   I will bet you dollars to donuts that this operation is run by some rinky dink overseas operation.  Wouldn't that be a kick in the pants.  

Learning where to find a book in the court house or which floor the treasurer is on is one thing and can be accomplished in less than a day.  A simple tour of where eveything is does not compare to mentoring with a professional abstractor.  In time and mounting claims this will prove to be true.
