This is the only industry I know of where the more you know and the more experience you have, the less they want to pay you.  The shoppers get my goat, and I really just meant to say that in the time of underbidding and throat cutting, American Title has continued to treat me well, and make me feel important to their business.  It's a pleasure to work with them. 

You're right, work is work in today's economy, and I'm trying to return to the business after a 2 year absence.  I had a fully thriving business, but my Mom suffered a stroke and asked me to be her primary caregiver.  It's pretty scary right now.  When I called American to say I was back in the area, and asked if they needed any help, they took me back immediately.  It was heartwarming to be welcomed back like that.
