On the other hand that is exactly what you are attempting to do with the clinton administration. Your man, Bush, was in the driver seat for the past eight years. If he perceived their to be problems from the prior administration he should have done something to alleviate the problem...Can't seem to recall anything.
Kevin, I'm not sure if you are being coy, goading or simply missing the facts presented. As a matter of fact, not opinion, Clinton's regulatory changes to fannie and Freddie did in fact show as one of the many procuring causes of the housing meltdown.
Once again you are being obtuse about the facts here. I know you are familiar with checks and balances of our federal government so be careful when you make statements like this.

According to the Constitution, who has the sole discretion drafting and passing such measures? Who has been in power for the last two years? The President can only make a wishlist. It is up to congress to make it available.
