Kevin, sorry to take this jab at ya but the Democratic party has never let pesky things like facts get in the way of progress.
Ladies and Gentleman, although I only have 36 brief years on this planet and many of you have loads more life experience than I do, I'll still humbly offer this view of our future.
Dependency breeds laziness. Welfare is the prime example of this.
Rewarding mediocracy or failure seems to be the goal of society. Parents no longer want winners or losers in sporting events. Government wants to give failed businesses money for their effort. What ever happened to Darwinism? I would argue the government should not do a damn thing as far as stimulus. We got greedy, fat and lazy. Let the strong survive.
Every employee in my company is getting a paycut this year. Thanks to Obama. I will pay more in taxes than the average bear cub, I refuse to support the lazy or inept. The thought that all people are equal or entitled to the same is a direct conflict to the natural order of things in the universe.
I know it's shocking to say or even hear, but we must have a division of classes, otherwise nothing will ever be accomplished. This isn't elitism or rascism or bigotry, it's the simple truth that all men and women are not equal in mental faculty, determination or common sense. If a train does not have a conductor you are left with everyone fighting for control, you'll eventually crash.
What is not acceptable is if the higher classes don't take care of and appreciate the work and efforts of the working class. Yes, there is unfortunately a bigger divide between the upper class and lower to middle income brackets, but this doesn't constitute the radical socialist view of redistribution of wealth that Obama is running at with full steam.
I believe America has lost its way and we have a bunch of drunken sailors in Congress ready to print up money on a whim and give it to anyone that cries about their losses.
The one sure thing is that Americans are tolerant...... to a point. What we have lost sight of is a fundamental truth spoken by one of our founding fathers.
"When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty. "
Thomas Jefferson
