I have no idea why prices have gone up generally but I was very pleased with the quote I got from Tudor Insurance.    I used an insurance agency in MA, but any agent can probably get a decent quote for you.  Best of luck with this & note that it took about 8-10 weeks for me to finally get a quote & binder so its probably best to  start looking sooner rather than later.
