I remember years ago having to go to Queens to do a search, I needed help finding some thing and of course there was no county employee in sight, so I ask another abstractor to help me, she was just telling me where I needed to go to find what I was looking for (that place is a pig stye, books thrown on the floor rather than being put back in the shelves they belonged in, etc..) when another abstractor walks up to us and says why are you helping her, there are to many abstractors in this county to begin with and actually pushed the gal away from me. After she left we continued our conversation and I thanked her for her help.
The NY boroughs are definitely an experience to do searches in, as is Nassau county NY.
