Dan,

If you do NY and California why would it be scarey to swap clients with someone who does Kansas?

Personally I have done this, exchanged clients, with several other abstractors a few years ago in other states and it didn't harm my business at all and I picked up a few new clients. I think its called networking.

Not all searchers are unethical.
